Cyber Command is the official IT and cybersecurity provider of the American Box Lacrosse League. Announced on September 1, 2026, the ABLL is a United States-based professional indoor lacrosse developmental league, created to give American players and coaches a structured pathway to develop their indoor game while competing at a high level.
A league that starts from a blank sheet needs its technology to arrive before the first face-off: identity and email for a growing front office, secure devices for staff spread across regions, ticketing and operations systems that hold up on game day, and security operations watching all of it. That is the work we do for the ABLL, the same way we do it for every organization we serve.
A League Built from the Ground Up

Box lacrosse is the indoor version of the game, played inside a hockey rink with turf over the ice and the boards and glass still in place. Five runners and a goaltender per side, a 30-second shot clock, four 15-minute quarters, and sudden-victory overtime: in the league's own words, "the speed of hockey, the physicality of football, and the skill of lacrosse."
The league is led by Commissioner Steve Donner and President and Chief Operating Officer George Manias. "The American Box Lacrosse League was created to give players an opportunity that has been missing in the United States," Manias said at the launch, "a structured pathway to further develop their indoor game while competing at a high level."
The Road Ahead
- Inaugural Player Combine: November 21 and 22, 2026, at the Mary C. Winder Community Center in Oneida, New York.
- Barnstorming Showcase Tour: January 2027, four teams and a six-game schedule across the Northeast.
- Full-season competition: 2028.
- Expansion: region by region, Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, South, Midwest, and West, adding four to six franchises a year toward a long-term goal of roughly 36 teams nationwide.
- The Creator’s Game: the league has committed to honoring the Indigenous origins of lacrosse through community engagement, player opportunities, and education, developed in consultation with Indigenous leaders and communities.
“Our vision is much bigger than a six-game showcase,” Donner said. “The Combine and Barnstorming Showcase Tour are the first step in building a sustainable professional indoor lacrosse league in the United States.”
Why We Back the ABLL
Professional sports is an unforgiving environment for technology. Announcements, ticket sales, player combines, and broadcasts all happen on a clock, in public, with no do-overs. Backing a league from its first season means the systems are designed for that pressure from the start instead of retrofitted after the first problem.
It also fits how we think about community. Cyber Command has backed sports and youth organizations in Central Florida for years, and a new professional league building a pathway for American players is exactly the kind of story we want to be part of.
